Day 01: New Delhi - Shimla (360 Kms - 7H 59Min) 

Arrive Delhi airport / railway station and drive to Shimla the former summer capital of British India,set amidst the snow capped Shivalik Mountains which offers some of the most stunning views of the mighty Himalayas.Enroute visit Pinjore Gardens or Ropeway at Timber Trail,Parwanoo.Arrive and check into the hotel. Evening free to stroll on The Mall and the famous Ridge.Ridge is famous for its stunning vistas of the valley and the Christ Church which is the most photographed landmark of Shimla.

Overnight: Shimla.

Day 2: Shimla

After breakfast excursion to Kufri.Kufri is famous for its Himalayan National Park,Poney and Yak Ride and One can see the endless Himalayan Panorama from Kufri,after lunch sightseeing of various places in and around.Shimla mosques built in(1830),Vice regal Lodge built in (1885),Christ Church built in (1844),The Gaiety Theatre- the first beauty contest of world was supposed to start (1887),The Grindlays Bank (1912)- the world wide bank started by Robert Melville Grindlay,The Scandal Point and The famous Shopping Plaza of the North The Mall.

Overnight: Shimla.

Day 3: Shimla - Manali (251 Kms - 7H)

Transfer from Shimla to Manali by surface Enroute visit Kullu valley,Beas River,Dashehra maidan etc.Arrive and transfer to hotel Manali.Evening free for rest.

Overnight: Manali.

Day 4: Manali

Morning proceed to visit the 450 years old Hidimbadevi Temple,the oldest temple in Manali,Tibetean center & monastery,Vasisth village,known for its hot Sulpher springs Roerich art Gallery.Bahist Temple,Solang Valley which offers a spectacular view of glaciers and snow capped an altitude of 3978 meters.Also visit Kothi,Rahala Water falls on the way.(Subject to weather conditions and road being open).Rest of the day is at leisure or takes a stroll down the Mall road.

Overnight: Manali.

Day 5: Rohtang Pass (51.2 Kms - 1H 46Min)

Early morning visit a place not to be missed - Rohtang Pass,from Manali at an altitude of 3978 meters.Also visit Kothi,Rahala Water falls on the way.(subject to weather conditions and road being open).Rest of the day is at leisure or takes a stroll down the Mall road.Return back to Manali.

Overnight: Manali.

Day 6: Manali - Dharamshala (240 Kms - 7H 1Min)

A distance of 260 kilometer on the way stopping at Baijnath known for its Shiva Temple and further at Palampur famous For Tea Garden.Dharamhsala is a hill-station lying on the spur of the Dhauladhar Mountains about 18 kms north-east of Kangra,It is known for its scenic beauty set amidst high pine and oak trees. Since 1960,when it became the temporary headquarters of His Holiness The Dalai Lama,Dharamshala has risen to international repute as “The Little Lhasa in India”.

Overnight: Dharamshala.

Day 7: Dharamshala - Dalhousie (117 Kms - 3H 32Min)

After breakfast drive from Dharamshala towards Dalhousie after doing the local sightseeing of places which includes,His holiness Dalai lama residence at Mc Leodgunj,War memorial,Bhagsunath temple and Dal Lake.Reach Dalhousie in the evening.

Overnight: Dalhousie.

Day 8: Dalhousie

Dalhousie has been named after the British Governor – General of the 19th century,Lord Dalhousie.Surrounded by varied vegetation – pines,dodders,oaks and flowering rhododendron.Local sightseeing of Dalhousie includes visit to Panjipula,Subhash Baoli and excursion to Khajjiar 24Kms.from Dalhousie surrounded by thick Deodar forest.Drive from Dalhousie to Khajjiar is awesome.

Overnight: Dalhousie.

Day 9: Dalhousie - Amritsar (202 Kms - 4H 16Min)

Transfer from Dalhousie to Amritsar by Surface.Arrive Amritsar and check into your pre booked hotel.After fresh up visit Golden Temple and enjoy the spiritual place.

Overnight: Amritsar.

Day 10: Amritsar

Morning after breakfast visit Wagah Border,Jallianwala Bagh,Golden Temple,Mata Mandir,Durgiana Temple and in evening visit the local market to buy some stuff as a memory of the trip.

Day 11: Amritsar - Chandigarh (229 Kms - 4H 35Min)

After breakfast check out from hotel.Depart for Chandigarh.On arrival Check into your pre booked hotel.After Fresh up visit the local market or if time permits visit other places too.

After breakfast check out from hotel.Visit Rose Garden,Rock Garden,Lake.Drop at  Chandigarh Railway Station/Airport to return back to home.

India to Hand Out Free SIM Cards With Tourist Visas

Don't spend your money on SIM cards if you're heading to India this fall. Distribution is expected to begin September 27 here's what you need to know. If you're visiting India and planning on buying a SIM card to use in your own phone for the duration of the trip, you might want to consider postponing your travels until late September. For years, it's been notoriously difficult to procure a SIM in the subcontinent from sourcing a retailer who's even willing to sell to a non-resident to endless paperwork, passport photos, documentation, and a complicated activation protocol. That's why the government has decided that, starting at the end of September, anyone arriving in India on an e-tourist visa- visa that's available to residents of over 113 countries, including the United States will be automatically be issued a SIM card, along with a welcome packet that includes a dos and don'ts list, maps, and emergency contact information. The government will issue the SIM cards through BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited), a state-owned telecommunications company that's the sixth-largest mobile service provider in the country. 'We had a number of meetings with the Home Ministry with regard to providing SIM cards to foreigner tourists when they land in India,' Tourism Minister Mahesh Sharma told Indian news agency PTI. 'The ministry has finally agreed to our proposal. Now, it will take some time to start the facility.' The initiative is expected to launch on September 27, the United Nations's World Tourism Day. According to a recent report issued by the World Travel & Tourism Council, tourism comprised more than 6 percent of India's total GDP in 2015. The unprecedented move to provide tourists with SIM cards 'comes as India attempts to attract more tourists,' Mashable reports. 'It will make things hassle-free for international tourists as it is not easy to procure a SIM for foreigners in the country,' a government official told the Daily Mail when the scheme was first proposed early this year. Having access to a working cell phone while traveling in a foreign country 'can also be helpful from the security point of view,' said the source.

Shatabadi Express Jaipur - Agra - Jaipur

We are delighted to inform you that finally the SHATABADI EXPRESS between Jaipur / Agra / Jaipur via Bharatpur has started wef 28th November, 2012 and shall operate six days a week EXCEPT Thursday as per train route enclosed with timings. Thailand VISA

Indian tourists travelling to Thailand after September 27, 2016 will be charged 2000THB for Visa on Arrival (VoA), according to the Royal Thai Embassy, New Delhi.. The reason for the doubling of the Visa on Arrival fee, which earlier stood at 1000THB, is to encourage tourists to apply for visas at Thai embassies or consular offices .
