Day 01: Bangalore

On arrival at Bangalore.After meet and greet our representative will escort you to your vehicle.Proceed to your hotel in Bangalore.Bangalore,India’s sixth largest city,is known as the Garden City because of its countless parks and tree-lined avenues.It was founded in 1537 by a local chieftain called Kempe Gowda,and later extended by Tippu Sultan,the Wodeyars of Mysore and the British.Set at an altitude of over 1000 m,the climate adds to the attractions of this city,now famous as the Silicon Valley of India.Afternoon proceed for half day city tour of Bangalore covering...the Lal Bagh,which has a variety of old, trees,fountains,lotus pools, terraces and an assortment of tropical and sub-tropical herbs.Also,see the Peninsular Gneissic Complex that is home to a 2500-2600 year old rock.You will also visit the brilliantly painted and carved summer palace of Tippu Sultan,the Bull Temple with its monolithic bull statue and drive past the government buildings.

Day 02: Bangalore - Mysore (149 Kms - 3H 19Min)

After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Mysore.Mysore,once the capital of the Wodeyar kingdom,is today the second largest city in Karnataka and one of the finest in southern India.Small,easygoing,famous for its silks and sandalwood,it is a city of fine gardens,tree-lined boulevards,art galleries and an intriguing palace.Mysore’s ten-day Dasara festival in September-October is still celebrated with medieval pageantry.On arrival check into hotel relax and relish you taste buds with exotic Karnataka cuisine.Afternoon proceed for half day city tour of Mysore visiting Maharaja’s palace built in 1911-12.The palace harmoniously synthesizes the Hindu and the Saracenic styles of architecture with archways,domes,turrets,colonnades and sculptures,which are truly magnificent. Visit the art gallery and drive up to the 1062 m high Chamundi hill to see the Chamundeshwari temple with a panoramic view of Mysore.On your way back,see the 5 m high Nandi Bull carved out of solid rock in 1659.Evening visit BrindavanGardens, the world famous terrace gardens to view the  famous fountain show(optional).

Day 03: Mysore - Ooty (126 Kms - 3H 7Min)

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Ooty.On arrival check in at the hotel.Ooty is popularly known as the “Queen of the blue mountains”.Ooty is famous for its rolling hills covered in pine and eucalyptus forests and its coffee and tea plantation.Arrival and check in to the hotel.

Day 04: Ooty

After breakfast proceed for a city tour of Ooty including Botanical Gardens which has total 1000 varieties of plants,shrubs and trees including orchids,ferns, alpines and medicinal plants among beautiful lawn.Ooty lake built in 1825,with beautiful surroundings.Raj Bhavan,Doddabatta,about 10kms,the big mountain reaches 2638m.The second highest in Western Ghats.On a clear day you can see as far as the Coimbatore plain and Mysore plateau.Back to the hotel.

Day 05: Ooty - Coorg (236 Kms - 5H 36Min)

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Coorg.The cool bracing wind whips the hair about your faces as you ramble along the streets that dip and rise delightfully.Breathtaking views surprise you from pretty cottages as you sniff appreciatively the heady fragrance of coffee blossoms.A picturesque charming town situated at an elevation of over 5,000 ft (1,525 m) above sea level.On arrival check in your hotel.

Day 06: Coorg

In the morning,after breakfast,take an excursion to Dubare Elephant Camp.A visit to the Dubare Elephant Camp across the river Cauvery,is a half-day programme.Visitors can participate in bathing and feeding the elephants.A specialist in the field provides the visitors with more insight into the life of these fascinating animals.The visit ends with an elephant ride through the forest to a nearby waterhole(optional) Later proceed to Madikeri.This is the district headquarters of Coorg.Sightseeing options in and around this picture-postcard town include Raja's Seat,Abbey Water Falls,Omkareshwara Temple and Talacauvery - the birthplace of River Cauvery (optional).

Day 07: Coorg - Bangalore (264 Kms - 5H 24Min)

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Bangalore and drop to Airport/ Railway Station to return back to home.

Railways New Year's Gift for Pilgrims: Soon a new railway line will make Dhanushkodi and Ram Setu accessible via train.


The near-defunct toy train in Darjeeling made famous by the iconic Bollywood movie Aradhana will now start a new run. The mini train will run 18 kms between Siliguri Junction & Rongtong a top tourist spot near Darjeeling also stopping at Sukna.


More than 5,100 specially trained Railway employees, including 2,600 RPF Personnel, have been tasked with assisting devotees in Kumbh Mela. Equipped with offline ticket-vending machines, these Rail Kumbh Sevaks will operate as mobile vendors & can be easily approached for tickets

Fog No Hurdle: Railways will use an innovative algorithm-based system to accurately predict train delays & inform passengers accordingly. In addition, fog safety devices are being used to alert loco pilots of approaching signals in case of poor visibility


Train Ticket Examiners will now be equipped with a Hand-Held Terminal that will enable them to officially mark an empty seat, automatically upgrading the status of waitlisted passengers who will now board the train with the assurance of a confirmed ticket
