Day 01: Delhi - Srinagar (By flight 1H 10Min)

Arrival at Srinagar airport and transfer to your reserved accommodation.Late afternoon Shikara ride on Dal Lake visiting floating and Vegetable gardens etc. 

Overnight: Deluxe Houseboat/hotel Srinagar.

Day 02: Srinagar

After early breakfast join a sightseeing trip to Mughal Gardens & Shankaracharya Temple.

The Mughal Gardens

With terraced lawns, cascading fountains, paint-box-bright flowerbeds with the panorama of the Dal in front of them - the three Mughal Gardens of Nishat and Shalimar are the Mughal Emperors' concept of paradise and are today very popular places for picnics and excursions.

Shankaracharya Temple

Visit Shankaracharya Temple – 5 km from Nehru Park, the temple stands atop Takht-e-Suleman ( 1100 ft). The temple was built during the reign of Jehangir.  Shankaracharya, a famous hindu saint came to Kashmir in early 9th century south India to preach and learn vedantic & Shaivism thoughts. The temple of Lord Shiva has a Shiv Lingam which worshipped by the Hindus.

Drive to your reserved hotel / houseboat for Dinner.

Overnight: Srinagar.

Day 03: Srinagar - Sonamarg (81.4 Kms - 3H 12Min)

Full day excursion to Sonamarg.Sonamarg lies in Sindh Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains.Sonamarg is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan Lake.The everlasting Thajiwas glacier, 3 Km from Sonamarg,provides a chance to enjoy sledge ride on Snow even in mid – summer.Ponies are available up to the glacier from Sonamarg.Drive back from Sonamarg and transfer to Deluxe Houseboat/Hotel for dinner and

Overnight: Srinagar.

Day 04: Srinagar - Pahalgam (91.6 Kms - 2H 35Min)

After early breakfast and drive to Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds) via old part of Srinagar.Drive through Saffron fields,visit Awantipura ruins (1100 years old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiwareman).Drive through the pine forest and along Lidder River.The total distance of about 98 kms will be covered in about 2 hrs.On arrival in Pahalgam check in at your reserved hotel for two nights stay.One can enjoy a pony ride through thick pine forest.Evening Return to your reserved accommodation for Dinner.

Overnight: Pahalgam.

Day 05: Pahalgam

After breakfast drive to Aru and on arrival check in at Aru Camping Resort.After check in join a local Sightseeing on your own by ponies or trek visiting Aru Village,Shiv Temple etc.Evening return to your camp for dinner.

Overnight: Pahalgam. 

Day 06: Pahalgam - Gulmarg (140 Kms - 4H 3Min)

After breakfast drive to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 Mts. above sea level.Gulmarg has one Of the best Ski slopes in the world and highest golf course of the world with 18 holes.One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat if weather permits.The View enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a short trek upto Khilangmarg which can be covered in about 3 to 4 hrs or enjoy a cable car ride which takes to the highest point.On arrival checkin at your reserved hotel for dinner.

Overnight: Gulmarg.

Day 07: Gulmarg

After breakffast local sightseeing on your own….One can enjoy cable car ride to Affarwat Mountain.Return for lunch, of the day at leisure. 

Overnight: Gulmarg.

Day 08: Gulmarg - Srinagar (53.0 Kms - 1H 48Min)

After breakfast drive to Srinagar to catch your onward flight for return back to home.

End of the tour with unforgotten memories. 



Railways New Year's Gift for Pilgrims: Soon a new railway line will make Dhanushkodi and Ram Setu accessible via train.


The near-defunct toy train in Darjeeling made famous by the iconic Bollywood movie Aradhana will now start a new run. The mini train will run 18 kms between Siliguri Junction & Rongtong a top tourist spot near Darjeeling also stopping at Sukna.


More than 5,100 specially trained Railway employees, including 2,600 RPF Personnel, have been tasked with assisting devotees in Kumbh Mela. Equipped with offline ticket-vending machines, these Rail Kumbh Sevaks will operate as mobile vendors & can be easily approached for tickets

Fog No Hurdle: Railways will use an innovative algorithm-based system to accurately predict train delays & inform passengers accordingly. In addition, fog safety devices are being used to alert loco pilots of approaching signals in case of poor visibility


Train Ticket Examiners will now be equipped with a Hand-Held Terminal that will enable them to officially mark an empty seat, automatically upgrading the status of waitlisted passengers who will now board the train with the assurance of a confirmed ticket
